Hackney Palestine Solidarity Campaign is a local branch of the (UK) national PSC, an independent, non party-political organisation that campaigns for self-determination for the Palestinian people. We campaign to end to Israel’s policies of occupation, colonisation and dispossession, for the right of return Palestinian refugees, and for an end to systemic discrimination against Palestinian citizens living within Israel. We oppose all forms of racism. We are a portal for solidarity activity in Hackney, and are always looking for new coalitions and ideas for building the movement. Currently we promote the movement for Boycott Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against Israeli apartheid called for by Palestinian civil society. We run Catastrophe Club with film programs and discussions relating to Palestine-Israel. We run local information stalls and engage with a range of current campaigns.
